MANILA (May 26): A small training plane crashed off a northern Philippine province on Wednesday, killing the student pilot, local authorities said. Authorities said the Tecnam P-2010 aircraft went down at around 11:30 a.m. local time on Wednesday, off the coast of Caba town in La Union province, Xinhua news agency reported.
The young pilot who died in the plane crash in Caba, La Union on Wednesday noon, May 26 was supposed to conduct a solo cross-country flight.
